Jess Corvinus

Senior Programs & Evidence Advisor

Jess has 9+ years of experience in implementation science, evidence, evaluations and outcomes. She started her career at her alma mater, CU Boulder, as an implementation specialist for the evidence-based LifeSkills® Training program out of the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence. Serving as Chief of Evidence-based Policy in the Colorado Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting, Jess focused on analyzing, documenting, and promoting the use of best practices in the delivery of government services. During this time, Jess advocated for the use of research, evidence, and data to better understand outcomes and the impact of publicly funded programs. Most recently, as Director of Dissemination for the evidence-based Fostering Healthy Futures® program, Jess developed government and community partnerships to increase the program’s reach in Colorado and nationally.

At the end of 2021, Jess decided to take a step back and was privileged enough to be able to stay home with her son full-time. Now that he is starting school, Jess is thrilled to be able to devote her time to working with CEEMI. Jess has her MA in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland, and her BA in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Colorado. She is originally from Massachusetts, and still considers herself an east coaster at heart (especially when it comes to sports team allegiances). She lives in Denver with her husband, son, and two dogs.
