Kate Reynolds
Senior Housing Advisor
Kathryn (Kate) Reynolds has over 15 years of experience developing policy, implementing programs, and conducting applied research to advance equitable and affordable housing and communities. For the past seven years, she managed policy and applied research projects as a principal policy associate with the Research to Action Lab at the Urban Institute. She has also held positions at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and U.S. Department of Labor. At HUD, she served as the deputy director of the White House Council for Strong Cities, Strong Communities, a council founded by President Obama to help achieve economic recovery in U.S. cities. She was a 2017 Bosch Foundation Fellow in Germany and a 2011–13 Presidential Management Fellow.
When she is not working to achieve more equitable housing policies, she enjoys hikes in the beautiful Rockies, traveling, and practicing German and French.
