CEEMI Endorses Legislation to Connect Workers with Higher Wages

CEEMI is proud to endorse the Better Jobs Through Evidence and Innovation Act!, reintroduced today in the U.S. Senate.

This legislation, championed by U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and Lisa Blunt Rochester, will create a Workforce Development Innovation Fund to expand evidence-based workforce programs that help workers and communities thrive.

“By creating a tiered evidence fund, the legislation directs limited federal upskilling and reskilling dollars toward the two priorities that matter most: building strong evidence of effectiveness across promising training and credentialing pathways, and scaling the approaches that work,” reflected CEEMI CEO and Founder Roger Low.
