CEEMI Leads testimony from 11 partners in support of Workforce Reform Legislation

CEEMI quarterbacked supportive testimony from 11 of our partners in support of SB 24-050 at a hearing in front of the Senate Business, Labor and Technology committee, which resulted in the committee voting favorably to advance the bill to Senate Appropriations. 

Witnesses from Colorado Succeeds, the Denver Chamber of Commerce, IBEW Local 68's electrical apprenticeship, ActivateWork, AdvanceEDU, BuildStrong Academy & CrossPurpose all testified. We were especially encouraged to get 3 learners and apprentices in front of the committee to share their stories.
