Evidence Builders Convening, hosted by CEEMI, Brings Bipartisan Group Together with Deep Dive on Evidence-based Policymaking

October 2025

At our 2025 Evidence Builders Convening, CEEMI brought together over 60 bipartisan policymakers, senior agency leaders, and funders (including a bipartisan group of seven legislators) for a two-day deep dive focused on “funding what works,” evaluation methods, how outcomes data can inform budget and policy decisions, and implementing evidence-based models. CEEMI has seen a need for this type of intensive engagement with policymakers. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive—including from a bipartisan group of seven legislators who took time out of their busy schedules to participate, learn and engage with us, and share reflections on how to make Colorado policymaking and legislating more evidence-based and outcomes-driven.
