Governor Polis Signs Key Workforce Bills

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has now signed two bipartisan bills into law, advancing work CEEMI fought for this session:

First, HB 1365, extending Opportunity Now (Opportunity 2.0). This included a CEEMI drafted amendment (based on SB 24-50) prioritizing evidence-based programs with strong outcomes.

Second, HB 1364, advancing a centralized interconnected state longitudinal workforce, postsecondary, and K-12 data system, enabling better tracking and measuring of learner outcomes over time. CEEMI is now working with our partners to push for effective and efficient implementation of this legislation.
