House Education Committee Unanimously Adopts CEEMI Evidence Amendment

Colorado’s State House Education Committee unanimously adopted an amendment proposed by CEEMI to HB 22-1350, bipartisan legislation led by Rep. Julie McCluskie and others to create a new $91 million Colorado Regional Talent Grant Program. Our amendment significantly strengthens the evidence requirements and incentives for this program, favoring applicants with stronger, more rigorous evidence of effectiveness. The bill tracks closely with the first recommendation of the 1330 Task Force, which CEEMI helped draft.
