New Study shows CUNY ASAP Increases BA Attainment and Wages

MDRC released a blockbuster report on the six-year follow-up of their randomized controlled trial of the CUNY Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) Ohio demonstration. The ASAP model -- a comprehensive student support model - already had rigorous, replicated evidence of dramatically improving associate's degree completion rates, but the findings from this new report from Ohio make the case for ASAP's wider adoption even more compelling. They show that ASAP also substantially increases bachelor's degree receipt and earnings. CEEMI is engaged in productive conversations with local partners to try to bring ASAP to Colorado.
