Senator Bennet Introduces Important Workforce Legislation Creating Tiered Evidence Fund

U.S. Senator Michael Bennet introduced the Better Jobs through Evidence and Innovation Act, a bill CEEMI collaborated with the Senator's office on and strongly supports. The bill has a strong "tiered evidence fund" structure, with the top funding tier reserved for scaling programs backed by strong evidence of learner impact, and lower tiers for more innovative approaches to help build evidence of learner impact. The bill grows in part out of a roundtable discussion CEEMI organized with Senator Bennet in 2022. CEEMI CEO Roger Low and other partners were quoted in the press release.
